Washington, D.C., March 28, 2022: The Department of Labor’s (DOL) processing time reports for February 2022 indicates that the DOL is taking an average of approximately 5.5 months (166 days) to issue a new Prevailing Wage request.

The DOL reports that it is taking approximately 6 months (178 days) to review a PERM ETA9089 application. Our firm’s recent experience indicates that the DOL is being rather optimistic in its processing report. Our recent experiences have been that PERM processing times are closer to 9 to 10 months for the DOL to issue a decision on a PERM ETA9089 application.
