23 Feb Visa Appointment Updates For The U.S. Embassy In Abu Dhabi
Immigrant visas to the United States are processed for citizens and residents of the United Arab Emirates at the U.S. Embassy in Abu Dhabi.
The U.S. Embassy in Abu Dhabi has announced the resumption of most immigrant visa services. The consulate in Abu Dhabi is currently processing cases in the following categories:
- IR/IH-3, IR/IH-4, SQ and SI SIVs
- IR-1, CR-1, IR-2, CR-2, or K visas, E-3 (certain healthcare professionals) and I-5/EB-5
- SB-1 returning residents, I-131A boarding foils
This is a good news for EB-5 investor visa applicants who have been facing significant delays in scheduling appointments as the consulates worldwide have been mostly non-operational since March 2020.
