China’s EB1 Final Action Dates (List A) moved forward two weeks: from February 1, 2022 to February 15, 2022. China’s EB1 Dates for Filing (List B) also moved forward slightly, from June 1, 2022 to August 1, 2022.

By contrast, India’s EB1 Final Action Dates jumped back to June 1, 2017 — after having been pushed back to January 1, 2012 in the September 2023 Visa Bulletin.

EB1 Dates For Filing (List B) for India moved back significantly in the October 2023 Visa Bulletin. Dates for Filing for EB1 India are set at July 1, 2019 (a backward step of almost 3 years from June 1, 2022 in the September 2023 Visa Bulletin).

Donoso & Partners certainly did anticipate forward movement in the EB1 India Final Action Dates since the 2012 cut-off date made little sense. A 2017 Final Action cut-off date certainly constitutes a more reasonable estimate of EB1 India visa usage.
