23 May USCIS Recommends Speedy Response to Medical Exam Requests
Washington, D.C., May 23, 2022: USCIS has issued Requests for Evidence (RFEs) to a number of applicants for employment-based adjustment of status, requesting a valid medical clearance (Form I-693, Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record). Please note that, although applicants have up to 87 days to respond to the RFE, USCIS is urging them to respond with all requested documents as soon as possible (and not wait the entire 87-day period), so that we may adjudicate the case and, if approvable, allocate an immigrant visa before October 1, 2022. Here’s how: return the complete RFE response to the address on the RFE notice. USCIS accepts responses sent by mail (including overnight and other priority options), commercial services, and courier. No further action is required if you already responded.
